A woman died and a man was seriously injured as a result of a shark attack on the east coast of Australia. This was reported on November 27 by the Reuters news agency.
"On Thursday, a woman was killed and a man was seriously injured as a result of a shark attack on a beach near a popular surfing spot on the east coast of Australia," the publication says.
It is noted that both were presumably about 20 years old. The deceased woman has not been officially identified at the moment.
Earlier, on September 6, an experienced surfer died in Australia as a result of a shark attack. The incident occurred at Dee Why Beach in Sydney. As a result of the attack, 57-year-old Mercury Psillakis was seriously injured and "lost several limbs."
