Pope Leo XIV banned Catholics from polygamous and polyamorous relationships
Pope Leo XIV has approved a new regulation of the Roman Curia, according to which Catholics are prohibited from entering into polygamous and polyamorous relationships. The relevant document was published on November 26 on the official website of the Vatican.
"Monogamy is not just the opposite of polygamy. It's much more than that, and deepening it allows us to imagine marriage in all its richness and fertility. The issue is closely related to the unifying goal of sexuality, which is not limited to guaranteeing procreation, but helps enrich and strengthen a single and exclusive union and a sense of mutual belonging," the regulations say.
