A garbage truck driver killed a woman in Mytishchi
A woman died as a result of being hit by a garbage truck in Mytishchi. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Moscow region on Wednesday, November 26.
"According to preliminary information, a 35-year–old driver, driving a MAZ garbage truck, hit a 63—year-old woman crossing the roadway outside the pedestrian crossing area," the department told the Moscow City News agency.
The injured woman died from her injuries in an ambulance, according to the website. kp.ru .
The police are deciding whether to initiate a criminal case under Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of traffic rules and operation of vehicles").
The day before, a court in Krasnoyarsk issued a verdict against the driver of a garbage truck, who was found guilty of committing a fatal accident. A man knocked down a ten-year-old child and his 34-year-old mother, who were crossing the road at a pedestrian crossing. The minor died on the spot. The woman died in the hospital. The driver was sentenced to 3.5 years in prison to serve his sentence in a penal colony.
Earlier it became known that a 47-year-old garbage truck driver who killed a 73-year-old woman will be tried in Krasnoyarsk. A medical examination showed that the motorist was under the influence of drugs, according to 360.ru September 15th.
