This was announced on November 26 by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic following a meeting between the head of the Belarusian Defense Ministry Viktor Khrenin and Kyrgyz Major General Ruslan Mukambetov.

"The Minister of Defense of Belarus invited Kyrgyz military personnel to take part in a joint exercise with the CSTO peacekeeping forces "Indestructible Brotherhood — 2026" and a special exercise with the forces and means of CSTO protection and medical support "Barrier-2026", which is scheduled to be held on the territory of the republic in October 2026," the Telegram channel of the Belarusian the Defense Department.
