In Moscow, the Satire Theater hosted a farewell ceremony for Honored Artist of the RSFSR Valentina Sharykina, who died at the age of 86. Izvestia publishes footage from the funeral event on November 26.

At the farewell, which took place in a narrow circle of relatives, including the husband of the actress Yuri Izvekov, and colleagues, the genuine sincerity of the actress, as well as her boundless dedication to art, was noted. Sharykina's coffin was carried out of the Satire Theater to applause.

Sharykina's death became known on November 24. The actress devoted her entire life to the Satire Theater, which she joined in 1962, immediately after graduating from Shchukin College. She gained wide popularity thanks to the role of waitress Pani Zosi in the TV project "The tavern "13 chairs", which was shown on screens for more than 15 years.

Sharykina also starred in such films and TV series as "Big Sister", "Major Whirlwind", "Egor Bulychov and others", "Privalovsky Millions", "Voronins", "Happy Together", "Fighters" and many others.
