On November 27, the Moscow State Traffic Inspectorate (GAI) will hold a Pedestrian preventive event in the capital.

Employees of the highway patrol service will monitor the observance of traffic rules by both pedestrians and drivers.

"As part of the raid, traffic police will conduct information and explanatory work with children and adults on the rules of road safety when crossing the carriageway, as well as norms of behavior in the residential area and in courtyards," the Telegram channel of the State Traffic Inspectorate reported.

According to the results of the last such raid, which took place on October 28, traffic police stopped more than 1.8 thousand traffic violations by drivers and pedestrians. On the part of drivers, 765 violations related to the failure to provide an advantage to the movement of pedestrians were stopped. Pedestrian road users violated traffic regulations more than 1 thousand times.

On the same day, it was reported that the system for checking the availability of CTP policies using cameras would be adjusted in such a way as to exclude false fines for the "absence" of insurance. This will allow you to avoid incorrect fines from cameras if, for one reason or another, the license plate number of the car was not specified during the registration of the policy.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
