British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has confirmed that the country will send more air defense missiles to Kiev in the coming weeks. This was reported on October 25 by the Anadolu Ajansi news agency.
"We need to continue to support Ukraine," Starmer stressed at a meeting of the coalition of the willing in the presence of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and the European leader.
The agency clarifies that, according to the Prime Minister, the final cessation of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, together with the establishment of lasting peace, remain the guiding principles for all partners. Starmer noted that progress has been made in the U.S. peace plan for Ukraine.
Earlier in the day, it was reported that the "Coalition of the Willing" intends to use the full amount of Russia's frozen assets to finance Ukraine. This decision was jointly made by German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, French President Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer during a meeting.
