The members of REN TV's "Fight Club" have to rely on their own strength. There are serious rivals ahead, from which it is necessary to beat out the victory. This Friday, November 28, a meeting of the titans of martial arts will take place. The main fight of the evening will be a duel between Russian Alexander Papin and a guest from Cameroon, Rolly Lambert Fogum. Which one of them is closer to the new title? Ilya Anikeev, a correspondent for Izvestia, told about this on November 25.

Arriving in Moscow from Dubai, Rolly Lambert Fogum prudently wrapped himself in a down jacket and put on a knitted hat.

"Russia is a very beautiful country. And if someone can help, I would like to visit the mountains, the rivers, because I know that the rivers freeze here in winter," said the Cameroonian, who is also an African and Asian boxing champion.

In the main match of the evening against Fogum, the Russian Papin will come out — fast, powerful, speaks little, but hits very hard.

"Rolly, I wish you good health, don't get hurt in any way, so that our fight eventually takes place. And I'm waiting for you in Vologda," he addressed his rival.

Anikeev noted that it is in Vologda that the new fights of the "Fight Club" will take place. Winning on Vologda land is already a good tradition for Papin. A year ago, in Cherepovets, he won a duel with Dominican Felix Valera.

"The foreigner will aim, but Papin will not let him do it, and at that moment it's nice to classify him in a classic way, and that's it," says powerlifter Mikhail Koklyaev.

Another boxer, who suffered a crushing knockout defeat from Papin, will perform in the main fight. Two-meter giant Greg Hardy returned to Russia, wanting to prove that he lost by accident. He played in the UFC, played American football. Its weight is 135 kg. One precise blow can decide the outcome of the battle.

"This is going to be a serious hack. Two big guys, you need to be on your guard, because anyone can be knocked out. Let's fight, bro. Let's have a fight," Hardy said.

His opponent will be Evgeny Goncharov, a mixed martial artist who also performs in the boxing ring.

"I heard you've already been to Russia, you were hospitably welcomed here, I understand that you liked it. Do you want more? Come, don't worry, I'll meet you this time. It's hospitable," Goncharov promised.

Goncharov brags, hinting at Hardy's defeat by Papin. And he considers the difference in weight to be his advantage.

"Greg Hardy is unpredictable because he is a tough American. A heavyweight from New York who brings strength and technique from American football to boxing. So it's unpredictable. He won't be knocked out," says boxer Kevin Johnson.

Whose forecast turns out to be correct will become clear this Friday, November 28. The Fight Club tournament will be held at the Vologda Sports Palace. It starts at 23:00 Moscow time. REN TV will show the brightest fights live.

Eight-time Russian weightlifting champion Mikhail Koklyaev announced on November 22 that he would be rooting for Russian MMA representative Goncharov in the upcoming fight against former UFC fighter Hardy at the REN TV Fight Club in Vologda. Koklyaev recalled that even American heavyweight boxer Eric Ash ("Butterbin") was able to "drop". This shows that even a major rival can be "declassified".
