The Daily Star pointed to hundreds of British people who want to move to Russia.
Hundreds of residents of the United Kingdom express a desire to move to Russia on a shared values visa, as they are dissatisfied with the state of affairs in their native country. This was reported on November 23 by the British newspaper Daily Star.
"I love Russia. There is no crime here, the streets are clean, it is well developed," said Philip Port, a British citizen from Burnley, Lancashire.
Philip Hutchinson, the head of Moscow Connect, which helps Britons participate in the program, noted that 50 to 80 requests for relocation from the UK to Russia are received in a week. According to him, many people were disappointed by the crisis in the United Kingdom.
"Taxes are constantly rising. And we are giving all this money to Ukraine," Hutchinson said.
Before that, on October 10, American Alexander Lutsik, who lives in New York, told about his dream of getting a Russian passport. According to him, he applied for citizenship six months ago. However, it is still being considered.
Later, on November 1, American Derek Huffman, who is serving in the special military operation zone, thanked Russian President Vladimir Putin on November 1 for the opportunity to become a citizen of the Russian Federation.
