The premiere of the biopic "Vivaldi Superstar" took place in Moscow
The secular premiere of the biopic play about composer Antonio Vivaldi with opera elements and a live orchestra "Vivaldi Superstar" directed by Fyodor Levin as part of the Lumisfera project took place in Moscow at the Smirnov Mansion on Tverskaya Boulevard.
"Vivaldi SUPERSTAR is a production that I am particularly proud of. A play was specially written for her using rare facts that were exclusively obtained from serious sources, including the library in Venice. It turned out to be a real deep biopic about a genius, his turbulent life, and all this, combined with his brilliant music, turned into an amazing performance," said Artem Mironov, general producer of the Lumisfera project.
The premiere was attended by Marina Zudina, Igor Gordin, Lyubov Tolkalina, Glafira Tarkhanova, Sergey Filin, Snezhina Kulova, Inna Zhirkova, Mark Kondratiev, Evgenia Linovich, Natalia Somova and Maxim Marinin, Yanina Melekhova, Vladimir Khatskevich, David Kolchin, Diana Skitova, Ekaterina Rokotova, Lyubov Khatskevich, Masha Tsigal, Anya Pokrov and Artur Babich, Stas Kruglitsky, Galina Rzhaksenskaya and others.
According to director Fyodor Levin: "It's difficult to define the genre of the play: we collected it from biographies, letters from contemporaries, fantasized, tried to figure out Antonio, understand what he could be like, and how to convey his energy to the audience. During rehearsals, Semyon Steinberg and Andrey Polyakov and I put the play together piece by piece, endlessly joking, because even the life of a genius is still a human life, with its passions, desires, joys and pains. After all, even the great Antonio Vivaldi sometimes just sat sadly and ate soup. I wanted to make Antonio alive, to try to touch his world."
