Xi Jinping expressed support for US efforts to achieve peace in Ukraine

China supports all the efforts of the United States aimed at achieving peace in Ukraine. This was announced on November 24 by Chinese President Xi Jinping during a telephone conversation with US President Donald Trump.

On November 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin noted that Moscow had received a 28-point plan from Washington, which, according to him, could be used "as the basis for a final peaceful settlement."

On November 23, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio called the negotiations on the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine in Geneva the most productive of all time and clarified that Washington and Kiev had made "tremendous progress" during them. The American Secretary of State also stressed that the United States understands the position of the Russian side in the same way as it understands what is a priority and unacceptable for each of the parties to the Ukrainian conflict.
