The implementation of the large-scale infrastructure project "Adler Bypass" was estimated at 127.9 billion rubles. The state-owned Avtodor company received a positive expert opinion on the third stage of road construction, RBC Krasnodar writes.

Tunneling complexes will be installed in the village of Vysokoe, Adler district. The Dzhubga – Sochi highway will last up to 130 km. After the highway is put into operation, according to preliminary data, GDP growth will amount to 2.2 trillion rubles. The first stage of the Adler Bypass is scheduled to be commissioned in 2027, according to KrasnodarMedia news agency. The implementation of the third part of the project is scheduled to begin in the second half of 2026.

The road should become an alternative to the federal highway A-147. During his address to the Federal Assembly, Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed to provide a financing scheme for the highway and ensure its design.

At the Forum of Road Initiatives in Sochi in 2023, a preliminary estimate of the cost of building the Adler bypass was 75.4 billion rubles.

The agency writes that the Adler bypass is being built at a record pace. The highway should change the traffic flows of the south of the country and eliminate hourly traffic jams.

At the end of last year, it was reported that the Russian government had approved a new plan for the construction of new federal toll roads by the state-owned Avtodor company until 2030. For the first time, sections of the Dzhubga–Sochi highway in the Krasnodar Territory were included in the program, and funds were also invested in bypassing Dagomys, which will be a continuation of the existing Sochi bypass, and bypassing Adler.
