Rubio said he had made tremendous progress during the Geneva talks.

On November 23, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio called the negotiations on the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine in Geneva the most productive of all time.

"This is probably the most productive day we've had on this issue, probably in all our time working together. <...> We had a very good day today. I think we've made tremendous progress," he said.

The American Secretary of State said that the parties had made "tremendous progress," and added that Washington believes that the plan it has developed can be agreed upon "as soon as possible."
