Residents of Ukraine are at risk of being left without water supply in the coming winter amid numerous corruption scandals. This was announced on November 22 by Sergei Nagornyak, a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Energy and Housing and Communal Services.

"Today, either Ukrainians will be left without water and without sanitation, or we will have to bankrupt these water utilities. <...> Today, Ukrainian water utilities are, well, in critical condition," he is quoted as saying live on the Novini TV channel.LIVE" by RIA Novosti.
