The militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) do not give up their attempts to leave the encircled Dimitrov in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), but they have practically no chance of doing so, since all such operations are suppressed. This was announced on November 22 by the head of the republic Denis Pushilin.

"As for Dimitrov, the enemy is still trying to break out of the encirclement in the direction of Rodinsky. <...> We see that the remaining militants of the armed formations of Ukraine have practically no chance," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

Pushilin clarified that one of the attempts was made by Ukrainian soldiers in the north of the republic.

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported a day earlier that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue to sweep Dimitrov and Krasnoarmeysk from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The ministry clarified that in the week from November 15 to November 21, the losses of the Ukrainian side amounted to 1,700 people in that area.

The next day, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that assault detachments of the 51st Army of the Russian Armed Forces were involved in active offensive operations conducted in the residential districts of Vostochny, Zapadny, and also in the southern part of Dimitrov.
