The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) continue shelling in the area of the satellite city of the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant Energodara, however, the NPP itself is in order. This was announced on November 22 by the facility's communications director, Evgenia Yashina.

According to her, Ukrainian militants are still shelling the area near the city.

"Everything is in order at the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant," RIA Novosti quoted Yashina as saying.

The head of Energodar, Maxim Pukhov, reported earlier on November 22 that the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a combined artillery and drone strike on a residential area of the city, as a result of which a man was injured. The infrastructure and residential sector of Energodar were not affected.

On November 6, Yashina indicated that the NPP was under reliable protection. According to her, at the moment, the only source of risk for the NPP is the systematic shelling of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
