In Canada, in the Bella Coola area, about 700 km northwest of Vancouver, a grizzly bear attacked a group of schoolchildren and their teachers, injuring 11 people. The incident occurred on November 20, the Daily Record newspaper reported.

A group of students in grades 4-5 were on a walk when they were attacked by an aggressive bear.
