"Despite the measures taken, the child of 2021 died without regaining consciousness, and the rest of the victims are receiving the necessary medical care," the department's Telegram channel reported.

The fire occurred on November 21 in the evening in a private household in the rural settlement of Ekazhevo. Investigators and criminologists immediately went to the scene under the direction of the head of the investigative department.

According to the Government of the Republic, the condition of the three hospitalized children is assessed as stable.
