A large wholesale distribution center will be opened in Crimea
A large wholesale and distribution center is preparing to open in Crimea. The facility will be put into operation in December 2025, the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic Anushavan Aghajanyan said in his social networks.
The complex is located in the Simferopol district. Its area is almost 59 thousand square meters, of which 52.7 thousand square meters are storage facilities. The capacity is 60 thousand pallets, the volume of the warehouse area is 102 thousand cubic meters.
"An ORC of this scale is a serious step forward for the trading industry of the entire peninsula. The center is equipped with the latest Russian equipment, and construction is proceeding strictly on schedule," the minister wrote.
The volume of private investments in the project amounted to more than 10 billion rubles, writes IA SevastopolMedia. Thanks to its implementation, 950 jobs will be created. The center will also use robotic systems and technologies with AI elements.
Earlier it was reported that the Crimean authorities sent 69 billion rubles received from the nationalization of the property of Ukrainian citizens for the improvement of the peninsula. At the moment, 54% of this amount has already been disbursed.
