The Kremlin said there was no official data on the US peace plan for Ukraine.
Russia has not officially received the US peace plan for resolving the conflict in Ukraine, and the Russian side remains on the platform of the discussions that took place in Anchorage. This was announced on November 21 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov during a briefing.
"I can tell you the following here: the Russian side remains on the platform of the discussions that took place in Anchorage. We are aware of possible modifications and approved formulations, but we have not received anything officially," he said.
According to Peskov, the Russian Federation receives various information on this initiative from the press, despite the fact that contacts with the United States do not stop. He added that there had also been no substantive discussion of the peace plan, but the State was open to peace talks.
Earlier in the day, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova also said that Russia had not officially received any plans for Ukraine from the United States to resolve the conflict peacefully. She clarified that the country had repeatedly received commissioned articles describing such processes, but later information about this was not confirmed.
On November 20, Western media reported on a new plan for resolving the conflict in Ukraine, which includes 28 points. Among them are the reduction of the size of the Ukrainian army and the volume of military assistance to Kiev, the granting of the state status to the Russian language, as well as the recognition of Donbass and Crimea as part of Russia.
