Three people died in Bangladesh as a result of the earthquake. This was reported on November 21 by The Daily Star newspaper, citing police data.

It is specified that as a result of the seismic event, the fence collapsed from the roof of a seven-story building in Dhaka.

"As a result of the collapse, three pedestrians were seriously injured. They were taken to the hospital <...>, where doctors pronounced them dead," said the junior inspector.

A magnitude 5.5 earthquake was recorded in Bangladesh earlier in the day. It was noted that the seismic event was located at a depth of 10 km. The epicenter of the earthquake was located about 18 km east of Tunga and 27 km north of Dhaka.
