Three points from Yurov and Kaprizov helped Minnesota defeat Carolina in the NHL match.

The hockey players of Minnesota defeated Carolina in the home match of the regular season of the National Hockey League (NHL). The game took place on November 20 and ended with a score of 4:3.

Minnesota defender Brock Faber opened the scoring in the second minute, then Matt Baldy doubled the lead in the 12th minute. In the third period, Mats Zuccarello scored in the 41st minute, and Carolina responded with two goals: Jackson Blake scored twice (35.59 minutes), and Sebastian Aho added another in the 47th minute.

Russian hockey players also contributed to the victory of Minnesota. Danila Yurov, in his debut NHL season, provided two assists, and Kirill Kaprizov helped the Minnesota forward to realize the winning shootout and added one assist. Andrei Svechnikov from Carolina also took part in the match, who gave an assist and scored his 11th point of the season, while Yakov Trenin and Alexander Nikishin scored no points.

After the win, Minnesota ranks fifth in the Central Division with 24 points in 21 games, while Carolina continues to lead the Metropolitan Division with 28 points after 20 meetings.

Earlier, on November 19, the Washington Capitals Hockey Club defeated the Edmonton Oilers in the NHL regular season match with a score of 7:4. So, forwards Ryan Leonard (11th and 32nd minutes) and Tom Wilson (59, 60) scored doubles among the winners. Forwards Alexei Protas (3), Alexander Ovechkin (7) and Anthony Beauvillier (47) each scored a goal.
