The gunners of the Center group of forces destroyed the manpower and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The gunners of the Aleysky motorized rifle unit of the Center group of forces destroyed the manpower and equipment of formations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Red Army area of the special military operation (SVO) with fire from the calculation of the multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) "Grad". This was announced on November 20 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

Having received the exact coordinates and confirmation from the operators of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), the gunners began to carry out the combat mission. Under the cover of air defense and attack drones, the crew took up a firing position. The combat vehicle quickly turned around, and the crew fired 122-millimeter shells at 17 km.

The drones continuously monitored and adjusted fire, ensuring accurate target acquisition and saving ammunition. The strike significantly weakened the combat capability of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. After confirming the results, the crew returned to the shelter, reloaded and went on duty.

"We try to change firing positions regularly. We currently have seven firing positions in the area, from where we get closer to the target, we try to drive through them regularly. We work mainly in the morning, that is, at night, because the enemy's UAVs change from night to daytime, and at this time no one uses nighttime ones, and daytime ones still see poorly," said Alexey, the platoon commander.

The Center group's gunners are working around the clock in their combat zone, hitting key AFU targets: manpower, equipment, warehouses, deployment points, firing points and drone command posts. Interaction with intelligence and drones allows you to quickly identify targets and achieve high accuracy, creating conditions for the offensive of assault groups.

On November 19, the Russian Defense Ministry said that the calculation of the 220-millimeter MLRS "Hurricane" of the Guards 58th combined arms army of the Dnepr group of forces delivered a powerful blow to the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Zaporozhye region, thereby providing support for the advance of Russian assault groups in the area of the village of Malaya Tokmachka. It was clarified that, having completed the combat mission, the crew, whose firing is corrected in real time by units equipped with UAVs, immediately left the position and went to the rear area to reload the launcher guides.
