The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is conducting an unprecedented observation campaign for the 3I/ATLAS interstellar object. This was announced by NASA on November 19.

"NASA is in the midst of an unprecedented observation campaign across the Solar System, rotating its spacecraft and telescopes to track Comet 3I/ATLAS," the statement said, as cited by RIA Novosti.

It is noted that since the opening on July 1, 12 spacecraft have already received and processed images of the comet, and other missions will be connected in the coming months.

NASA's Deputy director for Science Missions, Nicola Fox, said on November 19 that comet 3I/ATLAS poses no threat to Earth, as it is located at a safe distance from our planet.

Earlier, on October 14, Harvard University scientist Avi Loeb reported that the 3I/ATLAS object showed signs of artificial origin. It was noted that the celestial body demonstrated a number of anomalies that are atypical for ordinary comets of natural origin. So, even after passing near the sun, the object remains active and continues to exist as a whole.
