The repeat offender from Yelets robbed the same "nine" twice

In Yelets, a man robbed the same VAZ-2109 car twice. The suspect was detained, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Lipetsk region reported on Wednesday, November 19.

A 20-year-old young man reported the theft to the police. According to him, in the period from November 11 to November 13, the car radio and the on-board computer disappeared from his car. The Nine was parked on Oktyabrskaya Street.

During the operational search measures, law enforcement officers established that an unemployed 52-year-old local resident was involved in the abduction. The suspect had a previous criminal record, GOROD48 writes.

It turned out that the person involved had entered the car twice. The first time was through an unlocked door, and then a radio tape recorder became his prey. The second time, he got into the car at the computer, damaging the trunk lock.

The value of the stolen items amounted to 6.6 thousand rubles, they were seized. A criminal case has been opened under Part 2 of Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Theft). The attacker is currently on his own recognizance. He faces up to five years in prison.
