The court sentenced the attacker of a child in a hat with a Z symbol to 4.5 years in prison.

The Central District Military Court of Yekaterinburg sentenced Alexander Neustroev to 4.5 years in prison for assaulting a child wearing a hat with the symbol Z in 2023. He was found guilty in a new criminal case initiated because of the justification and propaganda of terrorism. This was reported to TASS in court on November 19.

"The final punishment of Neustroev according to the totality of sentences is 4.5 years in a high-security penal colony. He was found guilty under Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (public calls to carry out terrorist activities, public justifications of terrorism or propaganda of terrorism)," the agency's interlocutor said.
