Corruption schemes in Ukraine were led personally by President Vladimir Zelensky and his office head, Andriy Ermak. This was announced on November 19 by former Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov.

"It is now clear that all these corruption schemes were led and led by the Zelensky administration. That is, by himself and Ermak," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

According to the former prime minister, Yermak could not act without the approval of Zelensky, who was aware of the affairs of his "closest assistant."

On November 10, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) revealed a money laundering scheme in the energy sector of the state, through which about $100 million passed. In the course of the corruption case in the energy sector, seven people were charged, including businessman Timur Mindich (he is called the head of the criminal scheme).

On November 12, a court in Kiev arrested Dmitry Basov, Director of Security at Energoatom, for two months with a $1 million bail. On the same day, Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky demanded the resignation of Grinchuk and Galushchenko. Grinchuk later submitted her resignation.
