The calculation of the Hurricane MLRS hit the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at Malaya Tokmachka in the Zaporozhye region

The calculation of the 220-millimeter multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) Uragan of the Guards 58th combined arms army of the Dnepr group of forces dealt a powerful blow to the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Zaporozhye region, thereby providing support for the advance of Russian assault groups in the area of the village of Malaya Tokmachka. This was announced on November 19 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

The ministry clarified that the data for this operation was provided by the Russian aerial reconnaissance. After processing them, the crew inflicted massive fire damage on the identified target, as a result of which up to 20 Ukrainian militants were eliminated.

It is specified that, having completed the combat mission, the crew, whose firing is corrected in real time by units equipped with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), immediately left the position and went to the rear area to reload the launcher guides.

The Defense Ministry added that the calculations of the Uragan MLRS of the Dnepr group of forces effectively suppress enemy artillery positions, destroy control points and bases of Ukrainian drones, thereby making a significant contribution to weakening the combat potential of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The servicemen, who are part of the assault units of the 114th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 127th Division of the 5th Guards Combined Arms Army of the Vostok group of forces, told the details of the liberation of the Novoye settlement located in the territory of the Zaporizhia region. According to them, during the offensive, Russian units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine suffered heavy losses of manpower and armored vehicles. Soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces noted that they currently control a fortified area of more than 14 square kilometers.
