The Rostov region and Belarus have established reliable ties at the level of large businesses, said Governor Yuri Slyusar, who is on a visit to Minsk.

"We are planning a major infrastructure project to upgrade about a thousand public transport units. We are counting on favorable leasing rates, as well as the opening of a MAZ multi-brand dealership in our region in the near future. But connections at the level of medium and small businesses need to be developed, there is something to work on here," said Slyusar.

Cultural exchange is also an important area for expanding cooperation, the governor believes. He expressed his willingness to support the initiatives of compatriots living in Belarus in this area. In addition, Slyusar positively assessed the idea of signing an agreement between the Cossacks of the Great Army of the Don and Minsk United Cossack districts.
