The prosecutor asked to find guilty Evgeny Serebryakov (listed as a terrorist and extremist by Rosfinmonitoring), accused of blowing up a car with an officer in Moscow, and to sentence him to 28 years in a penal colony. This was reported to Izvestia by one of the participants in the trial.
In addition, the prosecution asked for a fine of 1 million rubles to be imposed on Serebryakov.
The car bombing occurred in the north of Moscow on July 24, 2024. The SUV exploded in the parking lot. As a result of the incident, a man who had his limbs torn off and a woman sitting next to him were injured. The cause of the explosion was the detonation of an unknown object. On the same day, 29-year-old Serebryakov was detained in Turkey and extradited to Russia.
Later, on July 26, the defendant confessed to cooperating with the special services of Ukraine. According to the FSB of Russia, citing Serebryakov's words, for the elimination of the Russian military, he was promised a Ukrainian passport and a reward in the amount of $ 10,000 to $20,000. He also announced a plan to travel to Ukraine from Turkey.
On October 30, it became known that Serebryakov had been recruited by the organizers of a criminal group in the online game Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. The man pleaded guilty to committing a terrorist act, as well as to possession and manufacture of explosives. He considered the charges to be well-founded.
