Former top manager of Rosatom Sakharov made a deal with the investigation

Gennady Sakharov, the former director of the structural division of the Rosatom state Corporation, who is accused of taking bribes, made a deal with the investigation and asked to be released to atone for his guilt in the area of a special military operation. This was reported on November 18 by TASS with reference to law enforcement agencies.

"Gennady Sakharov appealed to the prosecutor with a request to conclude a pre—trial cooperation agreement. <...> At the same time, the defendant in the Sakharov case asked for an opportunity to redeem himself, for which he has repeatedly appealed to the investigation with a corresponding request to release him," the agency quoted the source as saying.
