The DPR announced that the AFU group in Gulyai-Pole had fallen into a fire bag.

A militant group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in Gulyai-Pole in the Zaporizhia region found itself in a fire bag. This was announced on November 17 by Igor Kimakovsky, adviser to the head of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).

"In Gulyai-Pole, the enemy found himself in a fire bag. Our troops came almost close in places," Kimakovsky said in an interview with TASS.

He also added that groups of the 144th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are trying to escape from positions in Gulyai-Pole.

The enemy was surrounded for two weeks without food at Dimitrov's and laid down his arms after seeing the Russian instructions for surrender.

Earlier, on November 15, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that Russian troops had managed to advance deep into the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Gulyai-Pole direction during the liberation of the village of Yablokovo in the Zaporizhia region. It was noted that the units of the Vostok group of forces managed to immediately develop an offensive and gain a foothold in a populated area of more than 6 square kilometers.
