Hockey club (HC) Washington Capitals lost to HC New Jersey Devils in a home match of the National Hockey League (NHL) regular season on November 15. The Russian striker in the home team, Alexander Ovechkin, scored a goal and used four power techniques, but it did not bring victory.

The meeting ended with a score 3:2 (2:0, 0:0, 0:2, 0:0, 1:0). Russian striker Arseniy Gritsyuk (6th minute) and Luke Hughes (18th minute) scored for the visitors, while Shimon Nemec scored the winning goal.
