Roscosmos showed footage of a snow cyclone over Moscow
The first snow in Moscow was filmed from space. The footage was published by Roscosmos on November 15.
"Roscosmos satellites are monitoring the passage of the cyclone," the organization's Telegram channel says.
Earlier in the day, the first snow fell in the capital. On this day, the Hydrometeorological Center reported that on Saturday it would be cloudy, precipitation (mostly sleet), partly sticking sleet, partly icy. The air temperature in Moscow will range from zero to +2 degrees during the day. At night, the thermometer will drop to -6 degrees.
Later, the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia, Roman Vilfand, warned that about one third of the monthly precipitation rate would fall in Moscow on Saturday, with a temporary snow cover. In the afternoon, from 12:00 to 15:00 Moscow time, precipitation will begin to stop, after which pressure growth will increase. On Sunday, the weather will continue, it is expected from 0 to -2 degrees.
