Changan unveils new CS75Plus all-wheel drive crossover in Russia
Changan has officially announced the launch of the new, fourth-generation CS75Plus crossover on the Russian market. With the generation change, the model has an all-wheel drive system. From November 15, the Russian office of the brand will begin accepting orders for the model, Chang'an Motors Rus said in a statement received by Izvestia on November 14.
It is stated that Changan CS75Plus is built on an upgraded platform. The length of the car relative to the previous generation model, which entered the Russian market a year ago, increased by 60 mm, width — by 45 mm, wheelbase — by 90 mm. Engineers have reconfigured the suspension elastokinematics: the shock absorption stiffness has been reduced by 30%, while it has been possible to reduce the longitudinal swing of the body by 20% and lateral rolls by 15%.

The crossover will be offered with a choice of two gasoline turbo engines with a displacement of 1.5 liters and 2.0 liters. They are combined with the classic Aisin 8-speed automatic transmission. The two-liter engine version can be equipped with a sixth-generation BorgWarner clutch all-wheel drive system. The all-wheel drive transmission has several driving modes. It is also noted that the CS75Plus has been adapted for Russian operating conditions.
Prior to that, on November 5, it was reported that Changan had renamed the Lamore midsize sedan in Russia, which will be offered from 2023.
