"The word of the kid. Blood on Asphalt" became the best TV series at the Richmond International Film Festival 2025

The series directed by Zhora Kryzhovnikov "The Word of a kid. Blood on Asphalt", distributed in Russia and abroad by Art Pictures Distribution, won the Best of Festival for Episodic award at one of the largest international film festivals on the East Coast of the United States, the Richmond International Film Festival (RIFF). For the 14th time, RIFF has been collecting films and TV series from all over the world and celebrating the most daring, talented and honest stories. This year, 170 projects from more than 20 countries were presented.

Recall that the TV series "The Word of a kid. Blood on the asphalt", was released on Wink and START in November 2023, the television premiere took place on NTV in April 2024. He has won many different awards, including: four TEFI prizes in the categories "Drama Series", "Scriptwriter of the series", "Director of the series", "Producer of the series", as well as the White Elephant Film Critics Award for "Best TV Series" (2024), the APKiT Award in the nomination "Best OnlineTV series (seven or more episodes)" and many others. The project was created by the TOOMUCH Production film company, NMG Studio and NTV with the support of the Institute for Internet Development (ANO IRI).

The RIFF prize was the first foreign award in the series' collection. Previously, the film was widely presented on foreign film markets, where it attracted the interest of representatives of the UAE, India, Oman, Turkey and South Korea. The series was sold to Brazil, Mongolia, and the Balkan region, where it is already available to viewers and has received positive reviews from the audience.
