Six people were injured in a bus accident in the Amur region.
In the Amur region, six people, including a teenager, were injured in a collision between a commuter bus and a truck on the Amur highway. This was reported on November 13 in the Investigative Committee (IC) of the region.
According to the Investigative Committee, there were 14 passengers on the bus at the time of the accident. After the collision, the vehicle caught fire, but all people were evacuated.
"A criminal case has been opened on the grounds of a crime under Part 1 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (provision of services that do not meet the requirements for the safety of life and health of consumers)," the Investigative Committee said.
Investigators are establishing the causes of the incident and checking the technical condition of the transport, as well as compliance with road safety regulations.
Earlier, on November 12, a passenger bus and a KamAZ truck collided on the Krasnoyarsk—Yeniseysk highway. As a result of the accident, the driver of a bus carrying 35 people was injured. Law enforcement officers are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
