Working on a musical tribute, which includes cover versions of rock songs from different eras, was perceived by the project participants as an exciting creative task rather than as hard work. This was stated by Oleg Izotov, the lead guitarist and vocalist of the Gorky Park group, at the Izvestia press center during the Gorky Park group's press conference.

According to the musician, the very idea of creating a single artistic organism from songs belonging to different periods — from compositions of the 60s to modern works - has become the main source of inspiration for the band.

"It's generally cool to make music if it works. Therefore, it is difficult to say that it was difficult in some ways. I was inspired by the idea of making a cool tribute and making very beautiful interpretations of rock songs from different times," he said.

Izotov stressed that the key task for the performers was not simply to reproduce famous hits, but to create beautiful interpretations that would organically relate to each other in the right dynamic ratio.

Earlier, on October 25, it was reported that the members of the musical group t.A.T.u. entered the Moscow stage for the first time in 15 years. Their performance took place at the Tau Concert Hall. According to band member Yulia Volkova, the current popularity of music from the past decades, in particular the 1980s and 1990s, is due to the nostalgia of the public.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
