Two people died during a house fire in Barnaul

In the village of Belmesevo in Barnaul, a man and a woman died as a result of a fire. This was announced on November 11 by the Main Directorate (GU) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Altai Territory.

"A fire broke out in a private house in the Barnaul village of Belmesevo. <...> Two dead people, a man and a woman, were found at the scene," the department's Telegram channel said.

It is noted that 22 people and three tanker trucks were involved in extinguishing the fire. Due to the heavy smoke and high temperature, two smoke protection units were operated.

Earlier, on November 7, it was reported that a private house caught fire in the Novosibirsk region, as a result of which a minor girl died. It is specified that a criminal case was opened on the fact of the incident under Part 1 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Causing death by negligence").
