The Russian Embassy in India is establishing information about Russian citizens among those injured in a car explosion near the historic Red Fort citadel in India. This was announced on November 10 at the diplomatic mission.

"The consular department of the Russian Embassy is in constant contact with the Indian authorities and is finding out if there are any Russian citizens among the victims," the embassy said in an interview with TASS.

On the same day, NDTV reported that a car explosion had occurred in the Red Fort area of New Delhi. The explosion occurred in a car parked near the exit from the subway. It was clarified that one person was killed and four others were injured as a result of the explosion. After the incident, the door of one van was torn off, another car was almost completely damaged, and the windshield of the third was blown out.
