The nominees for the fifth season of Knowledge have been announced.Prize

The Znanie Society has announced a shortlist for the country's main educational award. It included 112 applications in 15 nominations. Among them are 61 educators, 47 projects and 4 companies. In November, the nominees will present their educational activities to an Honorary jury in Moscow. The shortlist for the anniversary season is available on the Znanie website.Prize.

89 regions of Russia took part in the fifth season of the award, 30 of them were shortlisted. Most of the nominees are from Moscow, Krasnodar Territory, Moscow region, Tula Region and Novosibirsk region.

The highest competition is in the "Training and Mentoring" category: 476 educators for a place on the shortlist. Among the projects in the nomination "For contribution to preserving the memory of the exploits of the defenders of the Fatherland": 282 applications for a place.

There are four foreign countries on the shortlist for the "Foreign Educator" nomination. For the first time in the history of the award, participants from Switzerland, Italy and the Czech Republic were nominated. The fourth country, France, is represented by financier and public figure Pierre de Gaulle, the grandson of former French President Charles de Gaulle.

"Every new season is Knowledge.The award makes a great contribution to the formation of a new generation of educators — people who, by word, deed and, most importantly, by personal example, strengthen the country, impart unique knowledge, preserve values, and unite society around the idea of creation. Among the 112 nominees for this season's victory are the Presidential plenipotentiary in one of the districts, governors, prominent scientists, famous journalists, educators, participants in a special military operation, and many others. All these people are united by a belief in the power of knowledge and responsibility for the future of the country," said Maxim Dreval, Director General of the Russian Society Znanie.

The nominees were selected among 18,730 contestants. The applications were evaluated by an Expert Council, which included more than 300 representatives from all regions of Russia. In November, the nominees will present their educational activities to an Honorary Jury, which will include prominent figures from various fields. They will select the winners in 16 nominations.
