In Ukraine, a battalion commander was arrested after the death of his men during the award ceremony.

The Central District Court of the city of Dnipro has chosen a preventive measure in the form of detention for the battalion commander, whose personnel died on November 1 during the award ceremony in the Dnipropetrovsk region. This was reported on November 8 by the State Bureau of Investigation of Ukraine (GBR).

According to the investigation, the battalion commander, despite the ban of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), gathered the personnel for the celebrations. As a result of the strike that occurred during the event, military personnel were killed.

"The staff of the GBR handed over a notice of suspicion to the commander of one of the battalions, who, despite the ban of the General Staff, gathered personnel for the celebrations in the Dnipropetrovsk region on November 1," the Telegram channel says.
