Air defense forces destroyed eight Ukrainian drones over Russian territory

Air defense systems destroyed eight drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the territory of Russia. This was announced on November 8 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"In the period from 9:00 to 12:00 Moscow time, eight Ukrainian aircraft—type unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed by air defense systems on duty," the department's Telegram channel said.

They added that Russian forces eliminated two drones over the territory of the Novgorod region, one each over the Bryansk, Kursk, Belgorod and Smolensk regions, as well as one UAV over the territory of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Moscow region.

Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the air defense forces had destroyed 79 Ukrainian aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over the territory of Russia over the past night.
