The results of the XIII International Sports Forum "Russia – a sporting power" have been summed up

The XIII International Sports Forum "Russia – a Sporting Power" was held in Samara on November 5-7. The key sports and business event of the year vividly demonstrated Russia's achievements in sports and the broad potential for international cooperation. The forum was held in accordance with the order of Russian President Vladimir Putin. With the support of the Government of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation. The event was attended by more than five thousand people, including heads of ministries, representatives of All-Russian sports federations and organizations, heads of leading companies, experts, analysts and media representatives from Russia and 58 countries and territories of the world. The main theme this year is "Sport for the future: Winning together." The discussions revolved around several important tracks dedicated to the further development of youth sports, the return of Russian athletes to the international arena and international cooperation, infrastructure development, the introduction of the latest technologies in the sports industry and media in the future of sports.

"We are all well aware of the importance of sport as a universal tool for developing a person's physical, creative, and spiritual potential, and we understand that it is possible to cope with many challenges of the modern world only together. Russia, like most countries on the planet, stands for cooperation between countries and peoples on the basis of equality, strict observance of each other's interests, and respect for national cultures. Sport is designed to unite people and build bridges between nations. This is also a high mission, one of the main meanings of the activities of international sports organizations," said President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin at the plenary session, which was the culmination of the RSD-2025.

One of the key sessions of the Forum was the open lesson "Digital Sports: the future that came today." Dmitry Chernyshenko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Russian Federation and Chairman of the forum's organizing Committee, took part in the event.

"In 2024, our President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin presented a previously non-existent sports format to the whole world. The new digital movement, which is now developing independently, has become international and has already united 120 countries. It is a combination of physical, traditional and modern digital sports. To be successful, you need to develop both in the virtual world and in the physical one," Dmitry Chernyshenko said in his speech at the lesson.

"The XIII International Sports Forum "Russia – a sporting power" has become an arena for ideas – a platform of opportunities that combined key meanings and goals for the further development of the sporting future not only of Russia, but also of the world. Within the framework of the Forum, 36 business events were held, where new strategies, projects and ideas aimed at comprehensively expanding cooperation between sports organizations, federal agencies and businesses were presented. The business program of the Forum has become one of the most intense in the history of the RSD. The events were attended by 27 representatives of foreign departments and organizations, more than 60 ministers of sports from the regions of Russia, 76 heads of all-Russian federations and 46 Olympic champions. I am convinced that the Forum has laid the foundation for the formation of new and strengthening of previous contacts that will serve for the benefit of Russia," said Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation, Executive Secretary of the RSD–2025 Organizing Committee.

A meeting of the Presidential Council for the Development of Physical Culture and Sports was held along with the Forum. The main topic of the meeting was the further development of youth sports.

Another important international event was the discussion "Sport without borders: new horizons of interaction", which was attended by representatives from 13 countries around the world.

As part of the Forum's sports program, which became a meaningful continuation of the business sessions, 19 events were held in 15 sports.

On the sidelines of the Forum, more than 100 cooperation agreements were signed between All-Russian sports federations and organizations, ministries, and business representatives, including 5 cooperation agreements between the All-Russian Federation of Digital Sports and the Ministry of Education of Russia, the Russian Automobile Federation, the Russian Basketball Federation, the Russian Hockey Federation, the Russian Football Union, and a memorandum of cooperation between the RPL and Match TV", a cooperation agreement between the All-Russian Athletics Federation and Wild Trail, a cooperation agreement to promote and implement joint projects in the preparation and holding of a Sports Investment Forum between the Roscongress Foundation and Dorra Events and Exhibitions, and others.

The cultural program of the Forum included over 60 events, from museum and exhibition routes and excursions, to theatrical productions and concerts.

The main theme of this year's parade is "Heroes of sports at war." 125 calculations took part in the solemn march — more than 7.5 thousand people from 16 regions of Russia.

The key event marking the end of the XIII International Sports Forum "Russia – a Sporting Power" was the historic 15th Memorial Day Parade, dedicated to the military parade held in Kuibyshev on November 7, 1941. The main theme of this year's parade is "Heroes of sports at war." 125 calculations took part in the solemn march — more than 7.5 thousand people from 16 regions of Russia. The central military orchestra of the Ministry of Defense of Russia accompanied the parade crews and the passage of equipment from the Great Patriotic War.
