One person died as a result of a fire in Irkutsk
As a result of a fire in an apartment building in the horticulture Cooperative in Irkutsk, one person was killed. This was announced on November 7 in the press service of the Main Directorate (GU) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region.
"A man died in a fire in Irkutsk," the agency's Telegram channel said.
It is specified that by the time the first fire department arrived, the house was completely on fire, which spread to a nearby wood-burning stove. The deceased was found lying on a bed in one of the rooms.
13 employees and four pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire. The agency suggested that the cause of the fire could be non-compliance with safety rules when smoking.
On November 6, the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Yakutia reported that three people were killed and one injured in a fire in an apartment building. It was clarified that 54 specialists and 13 pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire.
