Fonbet will support the League of Heroes tournaments with its veterans
Within the framework of the Russia — Sports Power forum, Fonbet and the Federation of Sports for People with Musculoskeletal Disorders extended the cooperation agreement for 2026. The document was signed by Fonbet CEO Alexander Paramonov and Federation President Andrey Strokin.
According to the terms of the partnership, Fonbet, as part of its DobroFON charity program, will assist in the second round of the Russian Sitting Volleyball Championship and the fourth round of the Russian Sledge Hockey Championship. Both tournaments are held within the framework of the "League of Heroes", which will be attended by teams fully or partially formed from the participants of their own. The finals of the championships will be held in 2026.
Pavel Rozhkov, President of the Russian Paralympic Committee, noted that Fonbet has recently supported holding competitions for children in high-performance sports. "Not only with the Federations of persons with disabilities, but also with the Federation of Sports for the Blind, with the Russian Paralympic Committee. This helps to ensure that as many people with disabilities as possible are involved in sports, feel in demand and successful," he said.
Also on the sidelines of the forum, Fonbet and the government of the Tula region signed an agreement that involves the construction of two new sites for adaptive sports.
The parties noted that the agreement was made possible thanks to the federal project "Challenge", which aims to create an accessible sports and social environment for inclusive groups. Two relevant sites have already been opened in Tula's Central Park this summer. During the year, new sports facilities also appeared in Moscow, Ryazan, Chelyabinsk and Kursk regions. Another one will open in November in St. Petersburg.
Dmitry Milyaev, Governor of the Tula Region, recalled that Fonbet supported the holding of the Defenders of the Fatherland Cup in Tula. "They also stood at the origins of the creation of inclusive open-type sites that we place on the territory of our capital and the region. We have already set up six such sites, and there are corresponding plans for next year," Milyaev said.
Fonbet CEO positively assessed the continued partnership with the region next year. "Together, we are successfully implementing important infrastructure projects aimed at creating an accessible sports environment for inclusive athletes and veterans of our military," Paramonov commented.
In addition, it was announced at the forum that Fonbet has become a partner of the III International Festival of Adaptive Sports "Impulse". A cooperation agreement has been concluded between the bookmaker and the National Inclusive Committee.
"For several years now, Fonbet and the DobroFON charity program have been an integral part of promoting sports in general and adaptive sports in particular. The Adaptive Sports Festival provides an opportunity for many people, young and old, not only to feel the moment, but also to know that it has a sequel," said Alexey Yagudin, Deputy head of Fonbet.
Previously, Fonbet supported the first two Impulse adaptive sports festivals held in Chelyabinsk. In total, about 1,000 athletes took part in them. Twice as many participants are expected next year.
The Russia — Sports Power Forum was held in Samara from November 5 to November 6. Fonbet and KHL have prepared a joint stand for the event. The exhibition was visited by the Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation Mikhail Degtyarev. The Gagarin Cup and the 2026 All-Star Game jerseys were presented at the stand.
