The Geely Emgrand sedan in the most budget version has left the Russian market

Geely has removed the most budget-friendly version of the Emgrand sedan from the Russian lineup, in which the model is equipped with a manual transmission. This was reported on November 6 by <url> Magazine.

After the disappearance of the available mechanical option, prices for Geely Emgrand start at 2.39 million rubles, excluding discounts, and reach 2.66 million rubles. The version with a manual transmission cost 2.18-2.24 million rubles.

Now the sedan is offered only with a six-speed automatic transmission, which works in conjunction with a 122-horsepower 1.5 liter engine. Dealers only have cars made in 2024.

The updated Coolray was also missing from the list of Geely models available for purchase, as it became known the day before. The company's press service explained that deliveries of the model to the Russian market are no longer planned, since demand in this segment is fully satisfied with the Cityray model. The company did not comment on the lack of the most affordable Emgrand.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that pre-production samples of the new SUV of the Russian brand Sollers went on sea trials, this is the final phase of the model development. According to Izvestia, tests of the new model are taking place in China. This work will continue in Russia soon, the Sollers press service noted.
