A case on the death of a child on the territory of a household was initiated in Primorye

A criminal case has been opened in Primorsky Krai over the death of a young child on the territory of a private household in Vladivostok. This was reported on November 5 in the investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

"According to investigators, on November 3, 2025, on the territory of a household in the Sovetsky district of Vladivostok, as a result of the overturning of a separate standing concrete building block, the young son of the owner, born in 2022, suffered bodily injuries," the department's Telegram channel said.

It is specified that the child was taken to a medical facility, where he died from his injuries.

The case was initiated under Part 1 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Causing death by negligence"). Investigators are establishing all the circumstances of the incident, and the necessary forensic examinations have been appointed.

Earlier, on September 23, investigators opened a criminal case into the death of a minor child as a result of a fall from an apartment window in western Moscow. According to preliminary data, the girl, left unattended, fell out of the window of an apartment located on the 10th floor of a residential building. The incident occurred on Udaltsova Street, 85a.
