The United States called the use of Taurus missiles a new stage of escalation

Jim Jatras, a former staff member of the US State Department, reported on November 4 that the use of long-range missiles, in particular the German Taurus, could provoke a new stage of escalation in the Ukrainian conflict.

"Now the most likely scenario is the use of some kind of long—range missiles <...>. I think the main event may be the use of German Taurus missiles," he said on the air on the YouTube channel of journalist Rachel Blevins.

In addition, he suggested that Western states may have other options for provocations.
