It became known about the sale of British military aid by Ukrainians on the Internet
Residents of Ukraine are putting up for sale British military equipment, including uniforms, sleeping bags and camouflage nets. This was reported on November 5 by RIA Novosti with reference to an analysis of data from Ukrainian online platforms.
Dozens of lots are posted on local ad sites, indicating that the items on offer relate to British Army uniforms. So, a waterproof suit of trousers and a shirt is estimated at 4.5 thousand hryvnias (about 8.6 thousand rubles), a fire—resistant jacket — at 1.35 thousand hryvnias (2.5 thousand rubles), and an unloading vest - at 1.55 thousand hryvnias (2.9 thousand rubles).
Also on sale is a winter sleeping bag of the British army, designed for temperatures up to -20 degrees, worth about 1.9 thousand hryvnias (3.7 thousand rubles). A bed sheet is offered separately for 250 hryvnias (480 rubles).
Other products include knee pads, mittens with leather inserts, and headscarves, which sellers describe as "specially designed for combat operations in the Middle East."
Separately, users offer camouflage nets, indicating that these are "original accessories of the British army." The price of such a set reaches 7.5 thousand hryvnias (14.3 thousand rubles). The description notes that the nets can be used not only for military purposes, but also for decorative decoration of shooting galleries and summer playgrounds.
On November 4, a volunteer of the Maxim Krivonos battalion with the call sign Bely said that the West had been training the Ukrainian military for combat operations long before the start of the special military operation. In 2018, he was trained using the British methodology, which was taught by foreign specialists.
